Wayman understands and appreciates the issues facing our community. Throughout his career he has helped to build relationships that bridged the divide between West and Southeast Michigan

He brought people together to resolve major issues like insufficient support for students in schools (Kent Schools Services Network), mental health reform, economic development and regional growth through tourism, recreation, amateur and semi-professional athletics.
